Below are our shipping and pick-up policies, this may vary based on the type of product purchased (i.e. live stocks, plants, supplies, equipment’s, etc…).

Delivery Policy

Order will be delivered by The Discus Planet team in their own vehicle. The team is trained and have experience in transporting live fish, frozen goods, plants, glass content, and care products safely under controlled conditions.

The purchased are subjected to product availability and will arrive as per our schedule or the mutually agreed date and time. In case items are unavailable or not found suitable, a team member will contact the end user or send an email to notify the same. 

At The Discus Planet we take care that all our live stocks are disease free and quarantined before putting them up for sale. Our live stocks are guaranteed to arrive free of worms or diseases. Any death or illness of live animals or plants after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or non-compatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources). Fish quarantine and acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the The Discus Planet delivery team.

• Fast track Deliveries to Dubai and Abu Dhabi can be fulfilled within 24-48 hours given all items are in stock and at additional charges.
• Due to our strict quarantine procedure and packing policy, delivery may take 2-7 working days for live animals and frozen products.
• Delivery to Distant areas (Out of city and over 30 km radius) is subject to delay. Please contact our customer service to have a mutual agreement on the delivery time and location.

FREE Delivery

Free Delivery is available within Emirate for orders with value as per the above table (excluding VAT). Only addresses within 30 km radius of the city centre qualify to receive this offer, locations outside our coverage areas will require an added delivery fee which will be adjusted after notifying the customer.

Store Pick-Up

The end user will notify about the order over the email or phone call confirming that items are available and ready for pickup at the Shop location. Pick-Up orders require a minimum of one working day to arrange.

You will have five (5) days from the time we send you an email confirming your product are ready for pickup. If the order is not collected during the aforementioned time period, we will automatically cancel your order.

If you wish to designate another person to pick-up your order, they must bring: A forwarded copy of your proof of purchase with your written consent, including the full name of the designated person matching government-issued ID.
