The Albino Buenos Aires Tetra  is a color variant of the popular Buenos Aires Tetra, which originate from river basins found near Buenos Aires, Argentina. They are one of the hardiest Tetra species found within the aquarium trade and are capable to adapting to a wide range of water temperatures and pH values. Hence we recommend it as a Beginner Fish

The Albino or Gold Buenos Aires Tetra will be the that different addition to your tank that you were looking for. It is a selectively bred color form of the wild-type Buenos Aires Tetra. A hardy fish,  peach-orange in color, with a red eye due to its albinism and light orange fins. As with tetra its a natural shoaling fish, thriving best with at least 8 individuals but more are encouraged.

 

Life span : 05 to 06 years ( depending on the condition provided, the worst the condition the shorter the span)

Size : 2 inches (5 cm) in captivity. the fish grow really fast if given proper food and condition.

Tank Size : 20 gallons (80 litre)

  • Water temperature: 60°F to 82°F (16°C to 28°C) Higher temperature prefer
  • pH levels: 5.5 to 8.5 (aim for the middle)
  • Water hardness: 4 to 8 dKH
